AuthorAnon (Oxford student) Situated in Cowley and open for only a few months (since Dec 17), Happy Friday Kitchen is Oxford’s answer to vegan junk food. Although located a bit of a trek away from town centre, the bright diner aesthetic and incredibly cute dog (follow his antics on their Instagram account @happyfridaykitchen and #hfkdog) are well worth the effort. Ranking within PETAs top 10 vegan fried chicken, their vegan junk food is not to be rivalled. The mac ‘n’ cheese is another great choice, with a perfect breadcrumby texture you won’t find anywhere else in Oxford. They also have a variety of Buddha Bowls, which means that those looking for a salad or something lighter are also catered for, and this could be especially handy if you live around the Cowley area and want to make it a frequent haunt without consuming a vegan Philly cheese steak every week (although if you do, more power to you!)

I've never been to Happy Friday Kitchen so I cannot share any review about the said restaurant. But based on the review that you've written, I can assume that eating their would be worthy of our time and penny. Mac and Cheese there would be worth the try! I am pretty sure that they had an amazing recipe for this one that's not usual for a Mac N's Cheese. If ever I'll be given the chance to travel, I am willing to go in Happy Friday Kitchen and their their specialty.
