We're excited to announce Oxford University, in partnership with the Guardian, is launching Net Zero Home School --  a week of live-streamed webinars exploring what Net Zero means and what it will take to achieve it, Monday 22 - Friday 26 June, 5:00-6:30pm BST.

This series is presented by the University of Oxford in partnership with The Guardian, the Oxford Climate Society, the Oxford Climate Research Network, Net Zero Climate, and ClimateWorks Foundation. Hosted by Fiona Harvey, Environment Correspondent at The Guardian.

On June 27th 2019, the UK became the first major economy to pass laws to end its contribution to global warming by 2050. Achieving this goal will be one of the defining challenges of our time. This webinar series aims to empower Generation Net Zero with a deeper understanding of what Net Zero means, and what it will take to achieve it, both for the UK and the world.

Net Zero Home School consists of five webinars on climate science and policy for Generation Net Zero to mark the one-year anniversary of the UK's Net Zero pledge and Net Zero Emissions Law.

This event is open to all, and particularly aimed at younger generations and schoolstrikers.

Time: Monday 22nd to Friday 26th June from 17.00 - 18.30 BST each day.
Location: All webinars will be livestreamed on the Oxford Climate Society YouTube Channel
Register: Click here to register on Eventbrite

Visit Netzero.org.uk for more information and to submit a question in advance

All sessions will be recorded and made available on the Oxford Climate Society YouTube Channel
